ISME was founded in 2006 by alumni from CMU, Purdue and Wharton, USA. ISME’s parent organization, NVT Quality Certification an ISO accreditation body that has certified companies for over 25 years across 36 countries. ISME founders are also the founders of National Public School (NPS) , Whitefield , one of the best schools in Bangalore.
ISME has been ranked as one of the top B-Schools in India with all faculty having global & corporate exposure. Over 1900 ISME alumni are working in multinationals across the world.
The institute has been ranked in the Top 5 B-schools of Bangalore by India Today 2023. It was also awarded as the Best ROI “Management College of the year” by Higher Education Review in 2020. ISME is accredited and approved by NBA, AICTE and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), among others.
The institute offers Post Graduate, Under Graduate and Doctoral level courses in the field of management in Business Administration, Commerce, and Management. The PGDM course is the 2 year full time AICTE approved flagship program at ISME Bangalore, preparing young aspiring professionals for the rigors of the corporate world. Admission to the college is granted on a merit basis and by CAT/ XAT / SNAP/ MAT / GMAT/ CMAT score depending upon the course opted by the students. ISME also offers Ph.D. courses under the University of Mysore and Fellow Program in Management (FPM- Ph.D. – AICTE Approved Program) for working executives, managers, faculty members, researchers and entrepreneurs.
The College also holds the record for 100% Placement Record from the 1st graduation batch that it had produced. Students received job roles like Business Analytics, Inside Sales, Financial Analyst, Business Consulting & many more. Most of the offers came from the IT/ITES sector followed by Financial Service Sector. The salary packages offered till date ranged between INR 8 LPA to INR 14 LPA. 100% of the students got placed in the current placement season.
